Nursery Roraima Readers

The updated Roraima Reader Series is a structured teaching tool designed to develop learners’ reading skills through phonemic awareness, phonics and sight word recognition. It introduces the alphabetic principle by combining picture cues with letter sounds. The series also encourages learners to recognise whole words and build foundational reading skills, helping them grow into independent readers.
The Roraima Reader Series includes a collection of eight books that align with the National Literacy Standards and Benchmarks. The books were designed to be used during Phonics Instructions and Phonics Activity Time, and can also be used during the Adventures with Letters and Sounds sessions.

Nursery Literacy Workbooks

The Adventures with Letters and Sounds Workbooks and Answer Keys align with the National Literacy Standards and Benchmarks, Adventures with Letters and Sounds-Nursery Teacher’s Edition and the Roraima Series. They offer engaging activities to promote the development of key literacy skills. While the Answer keys give teachers a suggestion of correct responses, children should provide

Nursery Manuals

The Outlines and Manuals were created to strengthen early reading and writing instruction. They are connected to national standards and curriculum goals. The aim is to provide teachers with structured support to build foundational literacy skills using fun, interactive and child-centred approaches.The documents promote early reading and writing skills, provide step-by-step instructions, teaching strategies, activity ideas, and effective ways to use the charts, cards, readers and workbooks. These resources will make teaching easier, more focused, and more effective, helping learners develop strong literacy skills from the start of their educational journey.

Nursery Assessment Booklets

Our assessments are simple, effective tools to help parents and teachers measure a child’s understanding of key early learning concepts. Covering alphabet recognition, sight word mastery, phonics and more, these assessments are designed to identify strengths and pinpoint areas that need extra support. Easy to use and child- friendly, they ensure every learner stays on track while building confidence and readiness for the next stage.

Nursery Sight Word Cards

The Nursery Literacy Charts and Flashcards serve as visual references for learning letters during reading and for strengthening word identification and writing activities throughout the day. They will be placed in the classroom to give children easy access to words they use frequently in oral and writing activities.The resources can be utilised during all the literacy sessions on the nursery timetable. Teachers can introduce and review letters and sight words at a pace that matches each child’s level.The resources allow for individual, small group or whole-class instruction, depending on the needs of each child.

Crown Readers

Crown Readers are valuable tools for nursery learners. They are designed to support their reading development through a systematic and engaging approach. These readers combine sight words and decodable text, following the newly introduced nursery phonics-based system to help children build essential reading skills.Through shared and guided reading, the Crown Readers facilitate scaffolding by allowing teachers to move from teacher-led support to independent reading. This enables children to decode words, build vocabulary, and grow in confidence as they progress systematically through each level.The Crown Readers include four series: A, B, C and D, with each series containing nine books. Each series is accompanied by a Shared Reader, which expands on the sentences found in the readers.

Adventures with Letters and Sounds Workbooks and Answer Keys- Nursery

The Literacy Workbooks were revised to help learners build skills for strong reading foundations through fun and engaging activities. These books, aligned to the Roraima Reader Series, focus on teaching and reinforcing the five big ideas in reading, such as Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Vocabulary, Comprehension and Fluency. Whether teaching a whole class or working one-on-one, these workbooks are a simple, effective way to support children’s journey to become strong, confident readers.
